SEQOS Implementation Project Plan. Use of the SEQOS Implementation Project Plan ensures a fast, smooth, trouble-free system installation. Basic requirements for configuring SEQOS are initially gathered by completing a questionnaire. After more detailed analysis, the system is configured to each client's specific requirements.
Most of the setup of the SEQOS package for each individual warehouse is configured by entering data into Master Tables incorporated into the SEQOS package.
Data for the master tables is easily loaded into SEQOS by entering the appropriate mapping between the master table templates and the SEQOS fields. SEQOS’ comprehensive and automatic data- validation functions ensure that erroneous and contradictory data is not loaded into SEQOS.
Since a broad range of companies is using SEQOS, off-the-shelf configurations incorporating the experience of those companies may well suit the new warehouse installation, with little or no modification, resulting in substantial cost and time savings. The installation can always be subsequently reconfigured to change individual functions to enhance the suitability of a system for that particular warehouse.

SEQOS is installed with useful templates which alleviate the necessity to configure the system in all detail before commencing operation.
Food Warehouse Example. For example, the default configuration for locations in a warehouse for food or pharmaceuticals does not allow mixing stock-receive dates, expiry-dates and batches in a location, so that tracking food items is strictly controlled.
Apparel Warehouse Example. The default configuration for an apparel warehouse usually allows mixing of those attributes, improving warehouse space utilisation, increasing productivity and throughput. All settings are re-configurable at any time by warehouse administrative personnel.
Multi-Client Warehouse Example. When a new client is added in multi-client warehouses, the system administrator is prompted to copy the configuration from an existing client to the new client, to avoid the need to re-enter configuration for a new client.
Step-by-step screens on the RF scanners allow staff to be productively using SEQOS on the first day of their employment on the system. All of the basic decision-making required to run the system is made by the system. The staff “learning process” has been reduced to a bare minimum of knowledge.
Software Versions and Releases
SEQOS system upgrades are easily installed, since all versions are backward-compatible.
The modular programming design allows software developers to quickly and easily extend new requirements without affecting the integrity of the rest of the software. Those extended modules are compatible with SEQOS software upgrades without needing to reprogram.
