Multi Dimensional Stock Attributes
The multiple dimensions and descriptions of garment and footwear products are readily accommodated in SEQOS. Examples of these attributes are style, colour, size, cup, fit, country of origin, material composition, and many others. These and any other dimensions of any particular description are easily configured in SEQOS and may be prompted for input during receiving into the warehouse for individual products, product groups or all products in the range. Enquiry screens automatically reformat to show the configured dimensions, or may be customised by the SEQOS user.
Retail customers who prefer particular countries of origin or who do not accept items from particular countries are easily managed by SEQOS at the warehouse.
Since manufacturers “estimate” amount of material needed for garment and footwear articles, the quantity of stock received into the warehouse can differ from the quantity originally ordered. Distribution tables for the ordered quantity can be automatically revised by setting priorities and other configurable rules in SEQOS to reapportion the total stock actually received. SEQOS automatic cross-docking functions are fully and automatically integrated with the revised distribution.
Eliminate Manufacturer Labelling Errors
Hand-made items are sometimes incorrectly labelled by the manufacturer, requiring the warehouse to check every item. A common error is the wrong size. The SEQOS RF Stock Receiving function alleviates this time-consuming checking task by scanning every individual item's barcode to automatically check that the barcode matches the physical item.
Packs from manufacturers and packs for retail customers may be configured in SEQOS. The packs from manufacturers may be received into SEQOS, then subsequently broken apart when individual items are needed.
Packs for retail customers may be built up at the warehouse with individual items using the configurable SEQOS Kitting function. The completed packs may be returned into stock as finished items, or may be immediately despatched to the retail customer.
Deliver On Time
Ensure advertised stock arrives at the destination at the right time ready for sale using the SEQOS Transport Delivery Lead-time table.
GS1-compliant SSCC labels are automatically printed by SEQOS to be attached to cartons for delivery. The delivery data is automatically transmitted by SEQOS to the various transport companies' computer systems.
The secure web portal enables customers to view the consignment details relating to each order, then automatically links to the transport companies' web-pages to view the status of each delivery.
