INDUSTRIES - Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)

Several alternate methods of picking may be used to fast-track FMCG:

  • The supplier may pre-address packages destined for the customer. Warehouse staff can simply cross-dock those packages.

  • Ordered quantities can be separated into carton and piece picking or other units of measure for efficient picking.

  • Carton or other units of measure may be picked using pick-by-label. A separate barcoded label is printed for every carton for every customer. Warehouse personnel simply attach each label to a carton. The cartons can be sorted for each customer, either manually or using a conveyor-diverted system.

When all quantity received into the warehouse for a stock item is cross-docked for a list of customers, the quantity can be automatically reapportioned by SEQOS for the customer orders according to priority and other configurable rules and requirements.

Lots, batches, expiry dates and other attributes are automatically tracked
